About this property

Welcome to The Park Royal

Located on 2.5 acres at the edge of Stretton village, The Park Royal is a historic hotel and events venue partially housed in a former vicarage dating back to 1831. Its setting offers a mix of classic architecture with modern touches, providing a calm and inviting environment just 11 miles from Tatton Park Gardens and close to popular attractions such as Arley Hall & Gardens and Gulliver’s World Theme Park.

The Park Royal features a range of facilities including a spa with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, along with a fitness center and gym that have been noted positively by guests. Dining options include an on-site restaurant and bar, with food service generally well regarded despite some mixed reviews regarding availability of poolside loungers. Practical amenities such as free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a kid-friendly environment contribute to its convenience for various types of visitors.

Accommodation and service receive varied feedback, with many praising the cleanliness of rooms and the friendly, attentive staff, especially in guest-facing areas such as the bar and gym. THE BEST STAY! I visited recently and had just the best experience. The hotel staff on the front desk are so friendly, the bar team couldn’t have done more for me and the gym team were also brilliant. Friendly staff make such a difference. The hotel has one of the best gyms I’ve trained in too. The pool is lovely, and the whole area really welcoming. The food was brilliant too!

Came for a pamper day with my partner, staff were all lovely and welcoming the day was perfect from start to finish, we had 2 Spa treatments, lunch and used the pool steam room and jacuzzi.. One tiny niggle was whilst in the pool for an hours chairs had towels on and no one came to them, it would of been nice to have a relax on one of the chairs. Just rude people not the hotels fault, but I did read that chairs were not to be reserved and would be checked on. We're hoping to return soon. Thank you guys

Room was very clean and fairly standard as expected. Reception staff were lovely and I'd called before we arrived too and customer service were great. We used the health club facilities and this is what let the hotel down. The jacuzzi and aroma showers were broken, and the sauna's heat had gone off. It was peak time and somebody told reception but it took a while to warm up again. Food in the restaurant was really nice and service was especially great from Mason. I've never seen anyone so keen and consistently great with their customer service as Mason. However, having the same song on loop for 90 minutes while we ate was hilarious! Your poor staff will be hearing that song in their sleep

I use the lounge area regularly for business meetings, unable to comment on the rooms. The venue is very well placed , minutes from m56 and m6. Usually, the lounge area is fairly comfortable and i have had no trouble finding a place to work from. The staff behind the bar area are always very pleasant and willing to help. Over the months i have been calling, i have regularly been served by Donnamarie who is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and we always have a friendly chat. She consistently ensures i am happy with food, drinks and service. She is a credit to the Hotel!! Beats sitting in coffee shops!!

Went for a spa day. All the staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent. Lunch was tasty and served quickly. The only negative was the chairs by the pool were unavailable due to people putting towels down but no one ever seemed to use them.

Had a very lovely night/day at this hotel which is very within good access to the motorway. Location is very pretty as is surroundings and look/feel of the hotel. Reception, bar and restaurant all very nice spacious and modern looking. Staff from minute we walked in to checking out were very friendly, couldn’t do enough for us and ensured all our needs were taken care of. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all lovely and clean with lovely beds surrounding the pool. Changing rooms very clean with hairdryers and GHDs. Superb. We didn’t eat in the restaurant that night but food looked good. We wanted a change os scenery so walked up the country road (safe one) to the Stretton Fox pub which served amazing food and again staff lovely. Will definitely go back to the hotel. Room size was great, no mini fridge/bar but not quibbling about that but haven’t given 5 stars only because of that. Rooms very clean as was bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A great range from yoghurts, cereals, pastries, full buffet breakfast. A lovely stay. Thank you guys.

Booked Spa day for my mums 60th Birthday and it was absolutely lovely. Food was lovely and it was very clean. Staff where friendly and helpful and the facilities where good My mum had 2 treatments and loved them and my sister had the same staff member do her treatment and loved it too. My treatment was about 15 minutes and should have been 25, and I was called the wrong name after being called “the other one” to my sister. Felt a little unprofessional and was watching social media videos before and after my treatment in the room which was weird. Think she was bored and wanted to go home. Wouldn’t stop me going back as you win some you loose some and the spa manager was really apologetic over it when my mum mentioned it and offered us another treatment each another time which was nice and we might take it up. I would go back as it was a lovely day. Robes, towels and slippers all nice and fresh

Spa break for the ladies, staff and service was impeccable. Anastasia did my 50 minute treatment and she was outstanding, thank you . Evening meal was lovely and served like a Michelin restaurant. Rooms were cold as issue with radiators but not warned when we checked in. Called reception for a blanket as not one in the room so extra duvet and heater was brought up. Rooms are very dated and could do with modernising, cleaning was ok but not the best due to age of building. Still a good stay with great company for the right price thank you.
